Telekom ICL Numpad
Unknown Switches, Sublimation-Dye Keycaps, 1992

This one is another interesting piece of my collection. It is an old terminal style number-pad made by ICL Sweden for the German telecommunication monopoly - Deutsche Telekom. The keyboard seems to be made in 1992. It uses unknown switches, which no one has been able to identify so far. It is probably safe to assume they are ICL's own design.

The switches are linear and feature a slightly shorter travel than Cherry MX Blacks. Double size keys are stabilized with a red "dummy switch", which does not hold a spring and an additional traditional stabilizer wire. The keycaps are of high quality and dye-sublimation printed.

The keypad uses a non standard 5-pin connector and is not compatible with PCs.
