PDC-101 Cyrillic
Unknown Keyswitch, Double-Injection Molded Keycaps + Pad Printing, 199x
This is an interesting keyboard I got from a geekhack member in trade for another keyboard. Sadly neither of us, nor anyone on the net seems to know much about this. It features switches that look similar to ALPS switches or Montery switches. However their details are entirely different.
Unlike ALPS and Montery this switch uses three pins for the connection to the PCB. They are tactile and feature a light click. Their feel comes close to the fake "Taiwan White Cherry" switches.
The actual build quality is pretty bad. The keyboard feels very light. The switches are mounted on a backplate made of plastic and the PCB is just big enough to house the very edge of the switches.
Still a fun keyboard with nice mysterious switches that feel great to type on. The Cyrillic lettering gives it an extra obscure look. I like it.
