HP C1405A Keyboard
Rubberdome, Sublimation-Dye Keycaps, 1988

This one is a PC compatible keyboard distributed with HP workstations in the mid 80s. Despite the overall high build quality and thick sublimation dyed keycaps the keyboard is only a rubber dome. Being a rubber dome keyboard and over 20 years old the key feel is as expected - pretty terrible.

As mentioned above the keycaps are sublimation dye printed and made of thick plastic. The "F" and "J" key are scoped like common with vintage Cherry keyboards. The red labels are a nice touch to the retro design. The LEDs are amber colored.

The keyboard connects using an external SDL cable.

It seems like other variants of the same keyboard existed with ALPS and NEC leaf spring switches, but I have yet to find one.
