Filco Majestouch Tenkeyless with Double Shot Keycaps
Cherry MX Blue, Double-Injection Molded Keycaps, 2008
The Filco Majestouch is a high quality commercial keyboard produced by the Japanese brand Diatec in Taiwan. I originally received this keyboard from the American distributor EliteKeyboards in 2008.
I have modified the keyboard by changing the thin pad-printed keycaps to double-shot molded keycaps harvested from various Cherry keyboards. The keys on the front row (CTRL, ALT, Windows, APP) and the Capslock key have been taken from a Cherry G80-8000. The other keycaps came from a G81-1800 HKBU.
Since my Majestouch uses Cherry MX Blue switches, I have decided to modify the spacebar switch to a Cherry MX Green because I prefer some extra pressure on the spacebar.
